Strobe Effects

January 31, 2016

I shoot NBA games with Speedotron strobes that are placed in the ceiling. The strobes gives you great light but limits you to one shot every three seconds. Sometimes the strobes create unwanted shadows from the backboard stanchion and shot clock. Sometimes you catch the the light and shadow just right. This is one of my favorite action portraits of Lebron James that caught the light and shadow perfectly.  Photo is as shot without any photoshop.
